Roy F. Hebard Jr.

Roy has more than 30 years of experience in executive search. He has conducted senior-level assignments for general management, financial, sales, and marketing executives, and other functional specialists on a global basis, in the broadly-defined consumer, retail, health care, Industrial and private equity businesses. Roy was recognized by Business Week as one of “The World's Most Influential Headhunters.” 

Prior to creating Hebard Search Partners, Roy was the Executive Vice President and Managing Director for Slayton Search Partners. Previously, he served as Managing Director for the Global Consumer Industries and Retail Practice at A.T. Kearney Executive Search, and as Managing Director of the Global Consumer Practice at Korn/Ferry International. 

Before entering the executive search field, Roy served as Vice President/General Manager with LaSalle Partners, a Chicago-based real estate services company. He was also in marketing management with General Foods in White Plains, New York. At Walt Disney Productions, Roy worked first as a Product Marketing Manager in the consumer products division and then as a Financial Analyst for EPCOT Center. 

Roy is an active member of various local civic and charitable organizations. He and his wife reside in Wilmette, Illinois, and have six children.
